What to Look for When Buying a Bike Chain
Speed Count
Your chain must match your drivetrain speed. A 12 speed chain is narrower than an 11 speed bike chain, and both differ from older chains. Count the sprockets on your cassette, then buy a chain made for that number.
Chain Brand

Correct Length
