What to Look for When Buying an MTB Groupset
Speed Count
Modern mountain bikes mostly run 12 speed drivetrains. A 12 speed mtb groupset gives a wide gear range with a single front ring, known as 1x12. Check your current speed count first, since mixing speeds leads to poor shifting.
