The Shimano RD-M4120-SGS has an official maximum rear sprocket specification of 46T for 1x10-speed use. Compatibility with a particular cassette depends on the complete drivetrain configuration.
The 11-50T cassette exceeds Shimano's official specification. An aftermarket derailleur hanger extender may provide additional clearance but does not guarantee correct shifting, chain capacity, or compatibility.
